This was a fun one! I started working with the New Memphis Institute after they learned about the Memphis Coloring Book and I definitely felt like I was in the right place at the right time.
They wanted shirts that would celebrate historic/old structures in Memphis being made new. Luckily for both of us, I had created a few of these already for the coloring book. Others, like the Greenline, were totally new.
I created five designs for the New Memphis Institute - the Greenline, Harahan Bridge, Hotel Chisca, the Crosstown Concourse building and the Water Tower on Broad.
NMI has put them on bright red shirts and they seem to be a total hit!
